Tadalafil is a remedy which helps with an enlarged prostate and erectile dysfunction. Doctors prescribe Tadalafil as a treatment if a man is persistently incapable of achieving or maintaining an erection. Tadalafil, the active ingredient, ensures that the vasodilation necessary to maintain an erection actually occurs.

Tadalafil is a medication mainly used for the treatment of adult men with erectile dysfunction.
In addition, Tadalafil is prescribed for urinary problems caused by an enlarged prostate.
An erection occurs because, with sexual stimulation, the blood vessels in the penis become wider. This dilation of blood vessels is triggered by substances released into the penis during sexual stimulation.
Tadalafil inhibits the breakdown of these vasodilating substances, which thus remain in the penis longer and in larger quantities. The penis therefore becomes firm and stays firm for longer. This effect, which also requires sexual stimulation, begins after about half an hour and reaches a maximum after around two hours.
Tadalafil also ensures that the muscles of the prostate and the bladder outlet relax. This makes the urethra less narrow and improves the flow of urine.
A capsule should be taken at least half an hour before sexual activity, though as the effects of this medication can last for 36 hours, it can also be taken earlier.
Tadalafil can be taken daily at a fixed time, but should never be taken several times in one day. Taking a capsule with a meal helps to avoid nausea or an upset stomach.
You cannot obtain Tadalafil prescription-free. This medication is only available on prescription under the brand name Cialis or as Tadalafil (unbranded).
